Every 2018 Mazda CX-3 now comes standard with Smart City Brake Support. This important driver assistance feature can automatically apply the brakes in emergency situations below 30 km/h.
Also standard across the board is Mazda’s exclusive G-Vectoring Control. This high-tech feature uses the engine in conjunction with steering and throttle inputs to make the steering feel more linear and direct. The result is better handling and more confidence behind the wheel. The chassis and steering have also been retuned for better handling, as well as a quieter and more comfortable ride.
Three Trim Levels To Choose From
The 2018 Mazda CX-3 comes in three trim levels: GX, GS, and GT.
The GX comes standard with push button start, air conditioning, two USB ports, backup camera, Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio pairing, and Mazda Connect. Mazda Connect features a standard 7” full-colour display combining infotainment and diagnostic functions. It is controlled through voice commands, a touchscreen, or the Commander control knob.
The mid-level GS replaces the GX’s 16” steel wheels with 16” alloy wheels, and upgrades the standard seats to heated premium grade cloth seats. GS also comes with automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers, on/off headlights, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Newly standard GS features include Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, heated steering wheel, and automatic climate control.
The top-trim GT includes pure white or black leather with red accents and Lux Suede upholstery, paddle shifters, 18” alloy wheels, 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and memory, adaptive LED headlights, Mazda Navigation, 7-speaker BOSE premium audio system, advanced keyless entry, plus a full-colour Active Driving Display head-up unit.
Additional option packages for the 2018 CX-3 are the Luxury Package and the Luxury & i-ACTIVSENSE Package on the GS, and the Technology Package on the GT.

Every 2018 Mazda CX-3 is powered by a powerful, 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder engine with 146 horsepower. This powerplant is mated to either a six-speed manual (standard on GX FWD only) or a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift and sport mode (optional on GX FWD, standard on all others).
Front-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels. Mazda’s available smart predictive i-ACTIV AWD all-wheel drive is an option on all trims. This system stays on alert at all times, monitoring your traction and acting instantly to maintain your CX-3’s grip on the road.
